Very good read by the editorial board of the Washington Post.

As Mr. Putin ponders whether to advance further into eastern Ukraine, say he will measure the seriousness of U.S. and allied actions, not their statements. China, pondering its next steps in the East China Sea, will do the same. Sadly, thats the nature of the century were living in.

(10,820 posts)The editorial board at the WaPo gave up the right to be taken seriously during the run up to the Iraq War. That entire column was nothing but bashing President Obama using the same rehashed arguments Republicans used to perpetuate the cold war and keep the money flowing to the MIC.
I think your purposes here have nothing to do with debate or discussion.

Why didn't they just say, "Tinkerbell called. She wants her foreign policy back."
"Wait, what? So Obama, there's a world crisis going on, so..."
What a gut wrenching downfall for the Washington Post. What a sad day for them.

(2,384 posts)Mr. Obama is not responsible for their misbehavior. But he does, or could, play a leading role in structuring the costs and benefits they must consider before acting. The model for Mr. Putins occupation of Crimea was his incursion into Georgia in 2008, when George W. Bush was president. Mr. Putin paid no price for that action; in fact, with parts of Georgia still under Russias control, he was permitted to host a Winter Olympics just around the corner.

(15,185 posts)I'm sick of you constantly spouting a bunch of republican talking points.
We don't need or want a resident John McCain. If I did, I'd sit around watching Fox News.
