It all started when 27,000 US troops invaded Panama
George H.W. Bush's invasion of Panama was called "Operation Just Cause." What a name, as if, there could ever be a just cause for invading them. D-day was Dec. 20, 1989.

Now Putin sends in 6000 troops to Crimea. This too is not a just cause. It's funny watching the cracked tea pots explode blaming Obama for this. Hopefully Obama will convince Putin that in order to remain part of the civilized world, Putin needs to act civilized. Of course the hypocrisy is fairly difficult to overcome given Panama and the invasion of Iraq.
