Sounds kind of like a threat, doesn't it?

Fox News host Jon Scott on Wednesday advised former IRS official Lois Lerner that she should give up her constitutional rights and testify before Congress if she wanted threats against her life to stop.

During a House Oversight Hearing on Wednesday, Lerner invoked her right under the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution, and refused to answer Chairman Darrell Issa's (R-CA) questions about the IRS targeting Tea Party and other conservative groups that applied for tax-exempt status.

Lerner's attorney had previously asked the committee not to call her to testify, citing numerous death threats.

"She felt she was getting death threats, that she felt concerned about her safety," US News and World Report's David Catanese told Scott on Wednesday.

There is no indication of who is making them or why they are being made. This sounds more like a stalling tactic to me. And if there are threats (real or fabricated) it shouldn't be too difficult to find out who they're from.

Congress just voted down the nominee to head up the Justice Dept on civil rights because (gasp!) he helped someone assert their Constitutional Rights. They pass laws they KNOW are unconstitutional, just so they can grandstand. They don't give shite about the citizenry only about the size of their bribes from lobbyists.

And we still elect them. And FOX, and Limburger, and the rest of the RW garbage spew goes on unabated, ust like the chemical spills in WV.
