70. Not all. There is a small number of restaurant industry line workers that are making

well above minimum wage, not nearly enough, but a start. The President most likely visited the restaurant because the owners pay their employees fairly.

for a Raise in Minimum Wage, bluestate.

That's exactly why they chose a restaurant like Café Beauregard.

Also our govenor ran on expanding Medicaid under the ACA and we have AppleCare for those who need it. The signing up was quick in October and keeps on changing atittudes here in WA state.

41. Thanks.. Here's one review from Yelp, will..

5.0 star rating

1/1/2014

First to Review
I was visiting family in CT this holiday and was worried about finding a good place to eat. Well, I'm pretty happy that we found this place on the first day. I went back every day after that! I had a sandwich a day for several days (and had soups and cookies to go with them) and everything I had was dee-frickin'-licious. This rivals any sandwich that I've had in my 5 years in San Francisco. Well played, Beauregard!

40. The "Obama Menu" at Valois cafeteria in Hyde Park, Chicago

This has been up for quite a few years (though the prices have increased!). Obama was a frequent patron of this Hyde Park staple, an old-time cafeteria with a broad clientele: local African-Americans, especially the old guys who sit around and discuss politics, and families after church on Sunday, as well as University of Chicago professors and students.

Whenever we're there, my husband (a Southern boy) has to go for the grits and biscuits.

$4.25, $4.95 and $8.95. That last I'd have to skip, though. And I'd love to listen the guys talk politics or world events. Those convos get really interesting.
