Happy Times At the Plantation

What about those good times when Mazza treated you kindly and just used the bullwhip made out of virgin cowhide soaked in his fine Port wine and gave you some of that ol' porkbelly to put in your bean-pot?

Conservatives angry that 12 Years As A Slave didn't portray the happier times as a slave. Jesus, these people don't have a brain or a soul.

...all the black people he knew were just happy in the days before the civil rights movement, not like they are now.

We could call it "Conservative Survivor." I'd like to have interviews with them individually so they could explain the virtues of slavery to us. They wouldn't last an hour picking cotton in 100 degree heat with 90% humidity. We wouldn't even have to whip them, just make them pick the cotton with their bare hands and drag the sack around behind them.

"When I hear anyone arguing for slavery, I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him...... personally."

Abraham Lincoln

Letter to former Illinois Attorney General Usher F. Linder (20 February 1848).
