Eagle Cam - live webcam view of 2 Bald Eagles and their young eaglet

I stumbled on this the other day, it's a live webcam view of a Bald Eagle nest on the Berry College campus in Rome, Georgia. Their chick hatched on Feb 22, making it about 2 1/2 weeks old right now.

1. Wow, that is cool. At moment mom is pretty active in nest. Kid must be sleeping.

I'm surprised they get that close to human activity (college) since there is plenty of wilderness in that area. Maybe they figure they won't get shot by some yahoo "hunter" if they live near a college campus.

Update: Kid just moved, looks strong.

7. Man, right now both parent eagles are in the nest with a fish, feeding chick. Wind is blowing hard

and tree is moving around. The eagles' feathers are blowing. I'm amazed at what good resolution the camera is getting.

Dang, I'm gonna get fired for watching this stuff when I should be working.

2. Storms coming through tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see how the eagles handle that

I'm sure they'll be fine, but I'm curious to see how much they're bothered by the wind and rain.
