Just saw a report. Winds have been crazy wild all day here, too, and they are saying wind knocked out power in DC.

We have been under wind advisories all day and they are really strong as I type - sounds like I'm on the frickin prairie up here in TN.

We've had flickers all day, too, but no outages so far.

I'm in a DC suburb (Silver Spring) and all is well right now.

9. Three brief brownouts in central South Carolina about 8:40pm'ish.

That's weird! each lasted just long enough to reboot the computer. Three times in about 3 minutes. I just stepped outside to investigate, and there's some moderately high winds going on. Grumble about a little wind knocking out power, come back and see this thread.
