I know it's not snowing & freezing but we're FL babies. I want to open my pool & get out of this back & forth bs.

There has been snow on the ground since before Thanksgiving.

Since the first of the year we have had only 5 days above freezing.

60 would feel good about now.

are turning into popsicles, I'm not complaining of the cold so much as the ridiculous fluctuations. They have been non-stop & quite excessive.

Hard to get motivated in cold temps. At least we did not get snow with the last system.

In fact, today is supposed to be close to 70 degrees here.

The trouble is that spring is a transisition season, some days are summer-like, like today and yesterday and the day before and some days are winter-like.

Unlike most of the weather of the last decade, this has been a colder than "normal" spring - at least here.

But it is also not THAT unusual to have snow even in May. I can remember it, because last year on about May 15th it was snowing even this far south (Kansas City). I was in the bank singing "I'm dreaming of a white ... Memorial Day. Just like the ones I used to know."

Of course, it didn't stick, and I knew it was not gonna stick, although it was really coming down for a while there.
