Malaysian presser: Plane either went to N. Kazakhstan/Turkmenistan or Southern Indian Ocean

Last communication with satellite 8:11AM Malaysian time. That's 7 hours after transponders were turned off. Could they keep passengers calm that long?

The passengers would have gone to sleep and then died of hypoxia fairly quickly.
