L’Wren Scott, Fashion Designer, Mick Jagger's Girlfriend, Is Found Dead, Official Says

NEW YORK — L'Wren Scott, a fashion designer and celebrity stylist who was Mick Jagger's girlfriend, was found dead in Manhattan of a possible suicide, a law enforcement official said Monday.

The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the victim's next of kin had not yet been notified.

The official said Scott's assistant found her hanging from a doorknob at 10 a.m. Monday. The official said no note was found and there was no sign of foul play.

A spokeswoman for Mick Jagger says the singer was "completely shocked and devastated by the news."

The blinders had this a few weeks ago (i.e. her isolation and hunkering down).

She also cancelled her show at London's fashion week due to 'production' - but no one believed it.

Here's this stunning former model with a really edgy and successful fashion line (LOVED her designs) and she got all screwed up over man cheating? I can't imagine what kind of turmoil she was in.

I know this - I will miss her. Her site is running really slow right now - I think everyone is trying to get there at once. Fashion blogs (where she is the main headline not her 'boyfriend') are really slow and timing out right now.

L'Wren Scott was six-three and maybe 120 pounds - you'd be screaming about the negative body image she gave to Our Impressionable Youth if she was in an ad campaign, but she was naturally just really thin. She would have had to work at it to hang herself from a doorknob.

Happened to my friend's brother.
Basically, you just lean forward until you pass out or helped to pass out with pills.
Air supply is cut off and you die.
Sad way to go.

I know of an extremely tragic case. The woman is completely incapacitated and is unable to do the most basic bodily functions on her own, and has needed round the clock care for the past 7 years.
