This is not sustainable. We must get big money out of politics and restore broad-based prosperity. How and when? At the very least, with a candidate for president in 2016 who makes this the centerpiece of his or her campaign and turns it into a national movement, which you and tens of millions of others join. I dont see any prospect on the Republican side. Then will Hillary Clinton do it? If not, Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders? If no one else will do it, I will.

(84,711 posts)I'd like to see a full front Dem Stable running.
I don't think we will see that because "HILLARY is the One Annointed" and rest is theater......But, hey...sounds good to me!

(7,358 posts)We can't win with a REAL progressive. Hillary, if she runs, will stroke the left like Obama during the campaign trail, but once elected, will go center right like her husband. How about that public option Hillary? or How about scrapping the cap on FICA? ... How about reigning in this out of control military spending? How about the Keystone ... I would love to see as many progressives as we can get to debate her and see what she says. So far she has been shrewd .. and not said anything. I really don't want another Clinton presidency folks .. sorry but they had their day in the sun .. go away.

Robert Reich might be able to get some much needed conversation out in public, that's for sure.
