Ya see, there was a plaque made of solid gold... and it had something important on it, maybe the winning lottery numbers...

Anyways, the plaque got lost somewhere in New York State. Now, if that was true, you would have tens of thousands of people digging all over New York State, looking for that gold.

But the Mormons aren't the only ones who raise ibrows.

As Mark Twain said, Mary Baker Eddy proves God has a sense of humor.

and you go and post this.

Did you know there are stitches over the nips on Mormon skivvies? because I didn't until I helped an ex-Mormon friend clear out her mom's house.

My friend thinks Mormonism is an almost perfect form of human evil. They could not get one service from the church to assist her mom as she slipped into Alzheimer dementia. (She's with a sister in NC now) Her family gave ten-percent of all they earned. All of her contemporaries have passed away who might have helped.

It's Like the super anti-feminists of all anti-feminist, anti-woman religions. Family night was pretty much there to teach her that. Despite what the south park dudes said in that episode about the happy family.

in terms of anti-feminism. For example, I have never heard of Mormons physically accosting women in the street for not dressing modestly enough. Or Mormons stoning a woman to death because she had the temerity to be a rape victim. And I don't think Mormons ban single women from going out in public unaccompanied by a male family member. And so on.

You are correct, of course. other religions are more violent overseas.

I'm always so local in thinking.

She had contempt for that religion most assiduously for the chronic anti-feminism and anti-woman teachings, and it helped being raised in the midst of the 60s-70s that was antithetical to such messages.

She also bridles at such restraints as a matter of her own natural inclination.
