if, for example

12% vehemently disapprove

39% strongly disapprove (including the 12% who are vehement about it)

and

87% disapprove (including those who are strong in their disapproval or vehement)

The groups don't have to be unique.

At least to Comedy Central. Fox has what's called a 'target rich environment' for mining material that can be used on the Daily Show and Colbert Report. Comedy writers are going to be wearing black armbands when Faux viewers' ancient audience goes tits up and their 'news' channel fades into obsolescence a few years down the road.
