Mccain, Romney, Cheney are the only

leaders the GOP has to speak out these days. The GOP got nobody to lead them. They have to go back to the past. Are they going to run in 2014 not based on active members of congress? Is the strategy to put their congress critters in the deep freeze and run them only locally? What are they up to?

a good example. They learned from the debates in past elections that exposure kills their candidates. If Jeb were considered a candidate right now he'd have to make comments about Russia/Crimea. Why have him out there in public when whatever he says can be used against him? Wait until it's all over and allow him to tell people what "he would have done".
The Republicans have learned that the less people know about their candidates and policies the more likely they are to get elected. I think their campaign strategy for 2016 is designed with that in mind.

Sell the wonders of conservatism.
Sell "family values".
Sell fear of the damage four more years of 'socialism' will do.
Build the shining image of you're great champion.
Most importantly, keep your skeleton in the closet until shortly before the election.

Drat, Jeb Bush fits that plan perfectly.
