Jimmy Carter: Drones Create More Terrorists

Former President Jimmy Carter sat down with HuffPost Live on Tuesday to discuss his book "A Call To Action," throwing some cold water on the Obama administration's use of drones in the process.

When asked about his stance on the policy, Carter said he "would not" rely on drone warfare, arguing that they kill innocent people and aggravate hatred toward the United States.

"I believe it creates more additional terrorists, with the fervor of killing Americans, than we would be if we were not using the drones to kill people," Carter said of the policy.

I love Mr. Carter, but what a shame he has to point this out.

Duh is also the first thought in my mind - kill 1 or 2 perceived terrorists and create 7 more? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, that it's a loser in the long run.

But, to justify the bloated military industrial complex we must create enemies. And even then, the military is ridiculously large for the mission.

killing and maiming innocent women & children,
and THEN trying to justify it by saying they suspected a terrorist was hiding in my neighborhood.....
I could get a raging HATE ON for the people behind it that.

I'm SURE my deep HATE for the perpetrators of these Acts of Terror would be shared by everyone around me,
and transferred to our children,
and their children.
