Snort! Republicans hammer Obamacare "Delay"

Republicans are chattering about the latest in a series of ten Obamacare "delays."

A "delay" to complain about suggests that there is something somebody wants that was supposed to be here, but has been delayed. Hence the complaint... that Obamacare promised something and didn't deliver on time.

The latest "delay" is extending the sign-up deadline one or two weeks in order to include everyone who is in the process when the old deadline arrives.

Consider that... the "delay" is a "delay" in cutting people off from signing up.

Because America wanted, no... America deserved to have people stop signing up for Obamacare on the last day of March and not one day later.

It's nuts. It's like complaining about a "delay" at the library because the sign said they close at 6:00 but they stayed open until 6:30.

If they open a half hour late that is something to complain about, but the library closing is not a public service.

It isn't something the average American benefits from, except for folks who just hate reading and want to make sure as few people go to the library, and thus benefit from the warm glow of knowing people are not getting books to read.

This latest rhetoric is targeted toward those who may be too ignorant to realize the difference between what constitutes a deadline extension and an actual delay. The first constitutes added opportunity, the second is a time-based restriction, and the two are essentially opposite each other. The intent is to create noise, doubt, and confusion, another glob of cow manure to throw against the wall in hopes that it will stick.

The repiggies do NOT have any positive content to offer by their party; but they do have lots and lots of screed (ALL rubbish).
