Ted Nugent defends South African apartheid, using the n-word in newly resurfaced interview

"I'm a fun guy, not a sexist or racist," Nugent said after explaining why he uses the n-word so much

ELIAS ISQUITH

-snip-

Ted Nugent on apartheid:

“[A]partheid isn’t that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal.”

Ted Nugent on black South Africans:

“The preponderance of South Africa is a different breed of man. I mean that with no disrespect. I say that with great respect. I love them because I’m one of them. They are still people of the earth, but they are different. They still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands. And when I kill an antelope for ‘em, their preference is the gut pile. That’s what they fucking want to eat, the intestines. These are different people. You give ‘em toothpaste, they fucking eat it…I hope they don’t become civilized. They’re way ahead of the game.”

Ted Nugent on using the n-word:

“I use the word nigger a lot because I hang around with a lot of niggers, and they use the word nigger, and I tend to use words that communicate…I don’t mean to offend. I’m a fun guy, not a sexist or racist.”

Ted Nugent on naming his tour the “Jap Whack Tour”:

“I mean no disrespect. I’m sure the Japanese are wonderful folks.”

This type of talk by Ted Nugent combined with the rather nasty attacks on women in general and Wendy in particular shuld have an effect. Greg Abbott is running a really nasty campaign where he and his surrogates are calling Wendy the name #abortionbarbie on twitter. There will hopefully be a cumulative effect with the attacks on equal pay for women.

Would have to be introduced in such a way that they can't use ti against Wendy in our *cough* 'post-racial' America, you know.

Does Abbott bash Obama, and did he show up at the NRA convention down in Houston with the shooting dummies?

I saw that here on DU and was appalled. I did not grow up in such a commercialized milieau where such was tolerated, even at the low end of the spectrum. I don't recognize my home state anymore when I see what media has become there.

But then, it's not really Texas, it's national and now world wide for this filth. I hope that the connection with Nugent will cut deep, as he hasn't been rejected by the TX GOP. They are still running on their misogynist, racist and their anti-Latino and anti-emigrant propaganda.

But I'm wondering if minorities in Texas, as in other places, are suffering outrage fatigue over the non-stop attacks on their rights and dismissing of their views, even speaking out.

Keep letting us know how it's going down there, Gothmog, what Texas does will reflect the nation.

Even if she doesn't win the race, she has already won for all of the Democrats down ballot. I am fighting for her to beat that S.O.B.! I wish we already had publicly funded elections so that his advantage in corporate money would not exist.
If you notice, politicians like Elizabeth Warren can afford to go after Wall Street, corporations and the 1% because she can count on a lot of small donations from around the country. The most of the rest of the Dems do not have that luxury and so they become under the thumb of big donors. That is what leads to Democratic politicians becoming "spineless!" We need to free them up from the Hamster exercise wheel of fundraising and owing a debt for the campaign money.
Texas is definitely in a state of flux, which is a good thing. If we can get more help from the DNC to get people registered we can finally kick their ass! There is a lot to be done and me and my fellow Americans, who happen to live here in Texas, don't plan on seceding anything!

what these people are saying outside their presence. And it's not rights for all. Anti-gov CT is not about freedom for all, but for those who are armed and hostile to liberal and progressive values.

They call those who still want to keep Social Security, the EPA, public schools, SNAP, Medicare, Medicaid, voting rights and other protections nothing but 'sheeple' who they term as destroying America by demanding equality for those they believe do not deserve a voice in guiding society.

That is the Libertarian view, that only certain people, just a minority of them, should rule. The rest are disposable. Oh, they won't say it so bluntly, but their policies say it for them.

Democrats, they say, are weak, cowardly, gay, feminine, lazy, dependent on the work of others, and only protect the rights of minorities to destroy 'the majority' who are well represented at their events.

An annual event in Austin, TX. involved Alex Jones and his gun rights rally alongside live streams of Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. So the 'hard left' and 'hard right' merge but their goals are those of the JBS and anarchists, which always lead to strong man rule.

Nugent and Putin have been their heroes depending on their own personal tastes for many years. They will always do so as they see them fighting those who are supporting the maintenance of effective civil society. IOW, Democrats.

What we call the democratic process, they call corrupt and destructive of families and God's will. You just have to listen to them long enough to see what they really believe, because they've conned so many with 'liberty.'

I understand the 'don't give the brats attention and they'll shut up eventually' idea but with the kind of money behind the Tea Party, NRA, ALEC and the Libertarians who now claim to be ther 'real liberals' they will NEVER shut up.

We can ignore them, but many millions don't and are buying every word they say as they feel it will empower them.

Fascism does not begin as a top down movement, but a grass roots from the personal level, despite support by the oligarchs. It appeals to that 'enlightened self-interest' scam which really says 'I got mine and you can get the hell out of my way, as I am equipped to protect what's now mine.'

People need to stay informed why this is being promoted. Then decide if they want to bow to it, and many have on the 'hard left' despite giving it other names, just ignoring the impact on individuals of color or vulnerable groups because their position seems strong and they have no concerns of real discrimination.

JMHO, Don Viego.

The NRA has chosen a racist pants-pooping pedophile who has advocated the assassination of Obama to represent them, and I must say he represents them well.

But I know I'd rather flee

Suddenly got Pants shat fever
Pants shat fever

Well, the first time that I lost control of those bowels
Was around about four
When it comes to shooting targets that shoot back
I'd rather shit in my drawers

Cause I'll get Pants shat fever
Pants shat fever
I got some reeking Pants shat fever
Pants shat fever

It's nothin' dangerous
I feel no pain
I've got the doo-doo train
You know you got it when you, you're allegedly going insane
It makes a grown man cry and smell bad, oh won't you piss my bed

Well, I stain the whities with the grunt of my ass
They're getting messes from me
They know just where to go when they need their loaded diaper man
They know I'm doin' it to flee

I give them Pants shat fever
Pants shat fever
It's smellin bad, Pants shat fever
The Pants shat fever!
