When I got my first VCR I set it up to record MTP (as soon as I figured out how to do it, and yes I am that old).

Now I have not watched in months and can't even consider doing so. David Gregory simply is not smart enough to host that show. He only memorizes a few talking points and throws in a "gotcha" question every now and then.

The man is simply terrible at his job. They either need someone like Dr. Maddow to host that show or they need to go back to a panel (or both). I am surprised he is still in third. Fox will be beating him out soon enough and so will PBS.

David Gregory needs to go.

I really miss Tim Russert! He was the most even-handed and informed host MTP ever had in my opinion.

other than dying conservative old white men, maybe they'd attract viewers other than and in addition to dying conservative old white men.

So it's no surprise that Press the Meat (R) has gone flaccid.

about the time Gregory came on board....I'm happy to hear this--but given MSNBC/NBC habits-they might replace with someone worse..
And while I on a "rant"--Whats up with that "syrupy, sickly sweet, hokey, phony, fact challenged, partisan bs" show called Morning Joe? I subjected myself one morning--never again!

and see what happens to their ratings.
I think they would be shocked at how it turns around.
ABC and CBS would be the ones whining then.
