Let's not use the name Republican ever again: Call them the Opposition

The opposite party.

The party that is opposition to the Liberal Left.

The party that opposes Americans being Americans.

That opposes food stamps, health care, a clean environment.

The party that is in opposition to a better future.

I won't credit the Republicans with that kind of definition.

"The opposition" is often a sandbagger on our side.

How the heck did Joe Leiberman ever become a standard bearer for us?

On the day of Obama's first inauguration they announced their intention to vandalize his presidency. Nevermind that such actions would impact the entire nation in extremely negative fashion, they were and are determined to prevent any good that might, however remotely, accrue to credit for him. They have slashed and burned their way across the livelihoods of all Americans not in the top 1%, destroying lives and homes and jobs in pursuit of making Obama look bad. Their guiding principle is destruction for its own sake, blame Obama. They could have made history. They have chosen, instead, to create an aftermath.
