Discussion is about Adelson and the Post Citizen United landscape. And Li'l Luke pulls George Soros out of his back pocket as an example of how Dems kiss the ring of the billionaire kingmakers too.
Did Soros have a primary somewhere and we weren't told?

(14,449 posts)Well to be honest, I hope that Democrats don't kick Soros to the curb. I think we need him and he is effective at helping us win elections. I know we hate money in politics....and oh I do so much, but until we change the way elections are won, we need every "Soros" we can get.

Lil Russert is not only a lightweight but he's a stupid moron of a hack. He reminds me of lil Lego men (down to the haircut) and is just as likely to have two thoughts click in his head at the same time.

(37,154 posts)Adelson has nearly twice as much as Soros. For Charles and David Koch, you can skip the word "nearly". And that's each of them separately, not combined.
Combine the Kochs and Adelson and you have about six times Soros' net worth. They are far more aggressive in their strategic political donating than Soros, and the Kochs have been doing this for decades.
Then we get to the other politically-funding billionaires: anyone recall Richard Mellon Scaife and his role in the attacks on Bill Clinton?
