2. I couldn't figure out the motive to cover up.
Now we find Zimmerman's father is a retired judge. How he got off on other charges, his father is a judge. Why the prosecutor wouldn't charge, his father had been a judge.
Now it all makes sense. |

23. Randi Rhodes reported today that Zimmerman wrote on an application that
his father was a judge in Virginia.
Randi stated that as far as she understood that Zimmerman's dad was military. It waits to be seen how the facts actually roll out. This is bad news for Zimmerman either way. If his father was a judge, then it begs the question, were strings pulled. If his dad was never a judge, that makes Zimmerman a ginormous liar. This will work against him either way. |

What I've read says he was a Judge in Orange County, FL. And is it possible that he was a Judge in both places.

36. It's what was being reported a month ago
Now I find all sorts of unreliable links claiming he's a FL judge....one of the key elements demonstrating their unreliability is they fail to note he's retired.

37. My father worked for the sheriff's dept in Riverside CA
I lived in NM. When he visited, he met local law enforcement. He told me then, and time proved him right, that I would have additional 'protection'.
I believe Zimmerman's dad Does/Did have pull....they do tend to protect one another. |

4. Why Zimmerman is not at least in police custody
is beyond me. I hear the Feds are getting involved--the LEAST they can do is arrest Zimmerman now. We all know if the roles were reversed and a black man had the gun how this would have gone down. This lawlessness has to end somewhere, and some time--please let this be the time!

but apparently DA didn't think the manslaughter charge would stick...or something like that. a dead body is probable cause enough for me.

32. That story didn't make sense to me. On tv they hold you for 2 or 3 days in a case like this.
they don't decide on day one whether or not the charges will stick. That story stunk.

And have the courage of their convictions. I hope their friends and family will also stand by them and protect them. They're doing the right thing by speaking the truth to help Trayvon Martin's family get justice.
I hold out hope for their safe journey to testify in this trial. Bless them. ![]() |

22. That means Trayvon
was shot point blank meaning blood would have spattered all over Zimmerman. Trayvon was found face down and his arms and hands were underneath him. Zimmerman had to come from underneath Trayvon. Where is the blood?

21. You are where the disconnect is
The fight was already over by the time Zimmerman and Trayvon wound up in this lady's back yard. According to Ms. Cutcher, after talking to other neighbors, she learned a fight did occur between Zimmerman and Trayvon, 4 houses down from her. She did not hear the fight. She heard what happened after a fight. When someone is crying for help, the fight is over. After the gunshot, the crying stopped. Just seconds after the gunshot, Ms. Cutcher saw Zimmerman straddling over Trayvon. If it was Trayvon on top of Zimmerman as he claims when he shot the gun, how on earth did he get out from under Trayvon within seconds?

26. It appears that
Trayvon was fighting for his life and lost, and since he can't speak, there needs to be a reconstruction expert to try and re-create what happened.
Zimmerman clearly had the intend to detain Trayvon. Trayvon felt threaten, who wouldn't, probably saw the gun and felt he needed to protect himself. He tried to get away but Zimmeran pursued him anyway and Trayvon would do what many people would do "Stand your Ground". |

the busybody who initiated the conflict in the first place. people have the right to be left alone, regardless of someone's "suspicions" about their existence.

38. Only Two People Know and One is Dead
I think it's very important to keep the 'vigilante mindset' of the general media and public down to a silent whisper. Noone knows what happed except Zimmerman and Trayvon and unfortunately Trayvon is dead. However, that does not automatically make Zipperman guilty of murder. Noone would want to be in his shoes right now. It's always entirely possible that he has some validity to his story...POSSIBLE. I thinks it's extremely important to keep this thought in mind, before making accusations, critical judgements and irrational conclusions like the media so often seem to do, before the story has been investigated thoroughly. Hopefully time and proper unbiased investigations will be able to shed some very important light into the truth of this whole sad story. Until then, everyone should try and show some empathy for BOTH Zimmerman and his family and Trayvon's family. We don't walk in their shoes, so lets try not to leave judgemental footprints

39. zimmerman's story is bogus
anyone with even half a brain can see that. and, as we now know, the lead detective wanted to arrest zimmerman because he did not believe his story. i am most certainly convinced that zimmerman is both a liar and a murderer. he should be arrested, tried, and hopefully convicted of murder. that may or may not happen, but it should. witnesses contradict his story, and now voice experts have confirmed he was the one crying for help. the sooner this murdered is arrested, the better.

even if Trayvon is dead we have a lot of evidence.
and Zimmerman has been proven to be a liar multiple times. |
