"Remember, Remember The 4th Of November"

Whenever I read a post on Facebook about horrific, inhumane and hateful things that Republican House (or Senate) members do and say and feel the need to inspire people of the importance of the up-coming elections, I sometimes share the article/video with the above line only.

Is it too vague? Too much? Will anyone know what I'm talking about? Might it land me in trouble...?

Just asking my DU friends here...

ON EDIT: oh yeah- i'm aware that Guy Fawkes Day is the 5th... but election day is the 4th.

I genuinely believe they are too clueless.
NO Republican I know would have ever sat through V for Vendetta or would have read the graphic novel.
And they would not have paid attention in school when (if) Guy Fawkes day had ever come up.
