(8,554 posts)I can't even watch that channel anymore; they've lost their friggin' minds over the missing jet.
It keeps reminding me of the moon shots they'd do during the war in Vietnam, to distract us all from the bombings.
The terror in Nigeria is beyond anything I can imagine...those poor children...and their parents.

It's almost comical now that I think back on it. How we all laughed when Max Headroom came to teevee. The story of a dystopian time in the not-too-distant-future (now) when the news and all programming would be manufactured and decisions on what to cover was led by consumer polls by media companies run by oligarchies who in turn oversee the puppet government from their anonymous Network23 Board of Directors.
- It seemed so wild and outlandish at the time. Didn't it?

(89,241 posts)i read that was because there were girls there that don't regularly go there. but they were there to take some exams because it was a school they thought had enough security and would be safe.
