Here Is A Link To The Live Testimony....

of Christine Renna before the NJ Legislative Committee investigating the GWB lane closures. It will start around 10:00 A.M. This may be interesting...or not, but I don't expect it to be a 5th amendment fest like Wildstein.

is married to a high powered executive with South Jersey Gas. They were trying to get the gas pipeline routed through the Pinelands and the governor's office exerted extreme pressure to force it through while Renna was working in the inner circle of the governor. Conflict of interest is a foreign concept to these people. What is her motivation here? Trying stay on Christie's good side, trying to avoid getting herself in hot water, trying to prove how smart she is for her future career, trying to avoid telling the whole truth....tough to determine. Her testimony is a crock. They never talked to 90% of the state's mayors. Only the ones they thought had something to offer Christie.

as she does some fancy dancing! This should be interesting. Trying to avoid stepping into the trap of conducting campaign work on public time while not perjuring herself. She needs to be subjected to some skilled cross-examination because there are several different concurrent vulnerabilities. As she tries to deflect one, she will expose another. She can't get around the fact that Christie had a punishment and reward system for allies and enemies that were political in nature and punished citizens for a politicians non-compliance with Christie's ambitions.

there's an article already written!

Former Christie aide testifies she had no involvement in bridge lane closings

A former top aide to Bridget Anne Kelly testified before the state Legislature today that “she had no knowledge or involvement” in the plan to close New Jersey toll lanes to the George Washington Bridge.

Christina Genovese Renna, formerly a top staffer in Gov. Chris Christie’s office who dealt with lawmakers and local officials, told lawmakers on the special investigative committee looking into the lane closures that she had limited knowledge of the bridge caper.

Renna defended the governor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, where Renna worked with Kelly and at an earlier point with Bill Stepien, another figure involved in the scandal. She was accompanied by her attorney, Henry Klingeman.

“I had no knowledge or involvement in the bridge lane closures, but I do know IGA,” Renna said in an opening statement, describing the office as “amazingly nonpartisan,” devoted to “helping people” and Hurricane Sandy victims in “proactive, consistent, inventive” ways.

“I am proud that IGA was exactly what government should be,” Renna said.

In previous interviews with attorneys working on behalf of the administration, Renna admitted that Christie’s staff was aware of which mayors were on board with the administration’s agenda. Renna said today that the office was aware of which mayors endorsed the governor's re-election.

Ms Renna is getting into the psycho-analysis of Bridgett Kelly now. Very nice.
