The Giving States and the Mooching States

A site with interesting interactive maps and charts on which states are the givers supporting those states drawing from the federal coffers. South Carolina, North Dakota and Florida are draining the funds while Delaware, Minnesota and Illinois are supporting those bums.
Site also has chart listing states using SNAP food supplement and - not surprisingly-the states with high poverty rates draw the most monies in this category.
A lot of political hay can be made from these charts.

Pretty similar to the political landscape of the country, the moochers are red states.

They cant be reasoned with until they are starving, then and only then will they be willing to grow and learn.

Which leaves us with the reality that while there are more of us than them, many of us are not motivated by politics.

Why? Because liberal leaning younger folks realize nothing the cons say is true and believe that half of what the dems say is also not true, so they think, WRONGLY SO, that voting has little value.

How do we fix that?
