Rand Paul: Benghazi Has 'Precluded' Hillary From Being President

Rand Paul: Benghazi Has 'Precluded' Hillary From Being President

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) took another shot at Hillary Clinton over Benghazi on Friday, saying she had "precluded herself" from being President because of how she handled the attack and its aftermath.

Paul made the remarks at the Republican National Committee's spring meeting in Memphis, Tenn.

"The thing is, this is about judgment," Paul said. "And we're talking about, should we as a country have a commander-in-chief who didn't provide adequate security in LIbya, didn't send reinforcements and then gave us nothing but spin?'"

"My opinion is that Hillary Clinton has precluded herself from ever being considered for that position," he concluded to loud cheers from the crowd.

Of course he doesn't want Hillary to run. She will beat him and any other Republican they lead to the slaughter.

Not only that, this whole Benghazi smear will backfire. It will be just like her husband's impeachment when he got even more popular, or when she debated Lazio and he got too aggressive.

It is destined to become a major punchline and unavoidable cliche. And it will mean this investigation long after people have forgotten what the initial incident was. Look for future faux investigations to be suffixed with "-ghazi" the way we apply "-gate" to any alleged government deception.

I have taken to using it as a greeting.

Democrats, but Rand Paul (FRP) doesn't talk to Democrats much. Old news is no news, Rand-baby. In fact, you're sort of old news yourself. Good luck in your future endeavors. Really. Well, not really, but...

If the investigation does destroy any chance that Hillary has to become president, the Republicans may find Elizabeth Warren in the Oval Office after the 2016 election.

If so, they may realize that they effectively shot themselves in the foot.

Imagine the kind of landslide that will occur if this shithead gets the Republican nomination! Republicans can form alliances, but ultimately, they can't compromise (or reason.) He will be one of a list of hopefuls that will get peeled off by the primaries. But the winner will be the one to project the most blandness. Jeb? Mitt?
