Ted Cruz: ‘I’m OK Talking to Gay People, But Christians Should Not Have to Do Business With Them’

Ted Cruz is alright associating with gay people, but he wants fellow Christians to know that it is okay if they are not.

On Friday, at the same forum in which Houston Baptist University President Robert B. Sloan, Jr. compared gay people to arsonists and alcoholics, Cruz made it clear Christians should not have to do business with gays if they do not want to.

“Everyone has to reconcile their own faith with how they interact with others, and that’s a choice you’ve got to make based on your understanding of biblical teachings and based on the best understanding you can come to it,” Cruz told the HBU audience during the Faith and the Public Square forum.

He then said that while he thought no Christian should be forced to do business with the LGBT community, that in his own Christian walk, he was willing to work with anyone, including gays and fellow members of Congress.

but he has no business in the nation's capitol as a policymaker.

U.S. congresspeople should be subject to nationally-led recalls when they are as extreme as this monster because their twisted ideology could adversely affect the entire nation, not just the state who sent them to Washington.

toleration, a la Cruz's description of himself, is pretty much the lowest form of positive human interaction. It is below acceptance and far below respect or celebration.
