We are proud to announce that independent journalist Glenn Greenwald will be speaking in person at this year’s Socialism 2014 conference. Greenwald was the journalist to whom Edward Snowden broke last year’s NSA surveillance program story, which revealed that the U.S. government had built a vast system of spying infrastructure designed to, in Greenwald’s words, “end all individual privacy” both within the United States and around the world.
Glenn Greenwald’s talk will be one of nearly 150 talks, panels, discussions, and film screenings that you can attend at the conference.
