CAITLIN MACNEAL MAY 11, 2014, 1:26 PM EDT
Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) and Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Sunday threw jabs over Benghazi and whether or not the select committee will conduct a politicized investigation.
"We need to get answers. This cannot be politicized," Bachmann started off, explaining how the committee will proceed in a fair manner on CNN's "State of the Union."
After noting that their are grieving families who lost loved ones in the attack, Wasserman Schultz accused Republicans of using Benghazi to strengthen voter turnout.
"The bottom line here is that the Republicans have clearly lost the ability, because weve had such a precipitous drop among republicans even in their fervor for appealing the affordable care act, that they are clearly doing this to drive their turnout and gin up their base," she said.
That is not true at all, Bachmann interjected.

(21,055 posts)That said what a rude jerky women. Rep Wasserman Schultz never interrupted her and Batshit kept interrupting her. And as usual Candy Crowley who doesn't want to be seen as partisan let batshit get away with her rudeness.
I wish Rep Wasserman Schultz would have asked batshit to name the 4 dead Americans. I doubt very few rethugs know their names only this manufactured scandal. To this day I have always been suspicious of whole beneghazi incident and how Rmoney was out in the beginning attacking the President like he had beforehand knowledge of the event. I always felt this was some sort of set up by the right wing like they had their scripts in hand.
