A man repeatedly drove a truck into WMAR's building before screaming, 'Let me in!' and going inside

An unidentified driver rammed a truck into WMAR-TV's (Channel 2) Towson headquarters several times before getting out of the vehicle and going inside, according to the Baltimore County Police Department and staff members who are at the site.

The car hit WMAR's building late Tuesday morning, according to the police department, before a possibly armed suspect went inside. Police have evacuated the building, which is at 6400 York Road in Baltimore County. The driver had not been captured as of 1:49 p.m., according to police.

The police department received its first call from the WMAR building at 11:45 a.m. regarding a man banging on the door "trying to get in." Within two minutes, the Baltimore County Police Department received another call from someone stating that a truck was in WMAR's lobby. The driver had fled the vehicle by the time police arrived.

WMAR meteorologist Mike Masco tweeted that the vehicle struck the WMAR building seven times. In another tweet, Masco said, "The guy is holed up in the building police found weapons in his vehicle."
