2. It's been a LONG winter and not a very warm Spring

I have a strong emotional attachment to California and I'm constantly hoping the weather starts to normalize.

We had an over abundance of every kind of precipitation, this year. Started with the big Christmas ice storm, followed by record snow fall, over the winter and into the Spring. Now we are being deluged with rain. Our water table definitely needed replenishment, after several years of drought, but damn. I might have to put off my traditional Memorial weekend veg garden planting until some time in June because my garden is a complete mud pit.
