I think someone or some organization should place bouys



in public areas around the country
that are attached to a tether anchored to the ground
tether of appropriate length for X feet of sea level rise with a sign: In 20xx this bouy will
be a reminder that there was once a park/street/neighborhood, community/etc. at this location.

be accompanied by a display like the one in the article.
and information about climate change. et al.

The buoy would be powered by solar panels which would power a recorded message about the above information. The recording would include te depth as the tether pulls out.

These could be placed along the coast of islands, peninsulas, and other soon (that's realative) to be submerged geographic features which would be a floating outline of the feature or coast.
