Ever since GOP strategist Karl Rove made for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's age and health part of the national dialogue, plenty have noted that such questions are legitimate for a would-be president. Fair enough.
But as MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd observed on Wednesday morning, that type of scrutiny could make it tough for the GOP to keep its patron saint on a pedestal.
If youre going to go down this road and try to claim that shes going to have some issues or health issues
then you may have to be throwing your own guy, Ronald Reagan, under the bus a little bit, Todd said on "Morning Joe."
Clinton would start her first term in the White House at the age of 69, the same age as Reagan when he took office.
