DU is where it's at, though. That's just a place to toy with morans and shills. A lot of conservatives in my state would be appalled by what "conservatives" are posting there.

If I wanted to argue with fringe-right idiots, I'd go to HuffPo. I've had a look at the politics threads on Discussionist and they remind me that almost all conservatives think about politics in soundbite terms and are so detached from reality, they couldn't see it with a telescope on a nice clear night. It reminds me of that old thought problem: How do you get someone to stop lying when you're not allowed to hit them?

9. I gave it a day.

It was fun for about five hours, then it went downhill. Very quickly devolved into DUers airing petty grievances with other DUers, conservative trolls reveling in their chance to tell the "DUmmies" what they think of them, Benghazi, and 9/11 trutherism.

One day over there made me realize how well DU is run, despite the occasional problem.

but I was disgusted. And that was before the wingnuts showed up. It was just a free-for-all for all the posters here who don't like the rules and wanted to stir the pot where there are no rules.

I am disappointed that we have now lost some of our posters because they are over there. Then again, maybe the ones who love to agitate will stay over there where they can play with the Freepers.
