Scientists Politely Remind World That Clean Energy Technology Ready To Go Whenever

CAMBRIDGE, MA—Stating that they just want to make sure it’s something everyone keeps in mind going forward, an international consortium of scientists gently reminded the world Wednesday that clean energy technologies are pretty much ready to go anytime. “We’ve got solar, wind, geothermal—we’re all set to move forward with this stuff whenever everyone else is,” said Dr. Sandra Eakins, adding that researchers are also doing a lot of pretty amazing things with biomass these days. “Again, we’re good to go on this end, so just let us know. You seriously should see these new hydrogen fuel cells we have. Anyway, just say the word, and we’ll start rolling it out.” At press time, representatives from the world’s leading economies had signaled that they would continue to heavily rely on fossil fuels until they had something more than an overwhelming scientific consensus to go on.

Oil oligarchs are making their last stand and they'll stand over our dead bodies if they can make enough money to... What? Live in space? Live on a floating city so they never have to deal with the mess?

I've begun to think I don't blame these sociopaths as I once did when I see how people have no ethics with each other or interest in doing the right thing. They simply gave us what we asked for, we didn't stop this. So they want to get away from us, the masses.

The public fails to think clearly to where we are going, a greatly reduced biosphere and a total loss of freedoms as we know them now.

Billions will live under the thumb of some kind of neo-feudalistic, theocratic, warlordism, unless they have leveraged themselves up to stand apart.

If only we'd've pulled back the reins on this instead of mindlessly galloping off the cliff. We may make in time to save some things, but dammit if I don't see it from what I read online, and that's my newsource. I'm not saying there is no time for a soluion:

That's a lot groups working on this now. But it seems like there is an equal if not greater amount of denial going on in spite of the news of scientists. Folks are being taught to fear all science when they're told they are out to kill them.

It's why people won't take a vaccine, they are being fed all this fear and hate all of it and don't believe they can do anything. So they run off into religion and wait to be saved by some supernatural forces, or vote Teaparty for feudalism.

It's a great and grievous time to be alive.
