you know who used initials? the Nazis, that's who.

ever heard of the 'SS'? Well, they were big time Nazis and they didn't always take the time to write things out. Is that how you want to be? Like a Nazi?

Don't like it?

H is the eight letter of the alphabet, so 88 = HH = Heil Hitler

I guess I should remove the emblems from the car so nobody gets the wrong idea.

My friends joked that it was an 88mm gun (common for the Germans in WWII). Seemed to just be emergency flashers.

Then switching to GG when called on it.

While some have assuredly referred to him by his initials without malice, plenty of posters have not.

Some people write JA for Assange, but funny how it is not nearly as common as GG for Greenwald.

It's a cute game some are playing and plenty of people aren't falling for it.

I spent plenty of time in threads after the Snowden revelations last summer and know exactly what many posters were up to. Not everyone, but many. When someone is using Gigi and then switches to GG in the same conversation after getting alerted, it would be silly not to recognize what was going on.

German words are long. The language is phonetic so it is actually easy to learn.

But think of all the misspelled words on the Teabaggers signs, and then you understand that a lot of conservatives are unable to spell. I think it has to do with their short attention spans. That may also explain why they want easy, slogan answers to questions about complex issues. It may also explain why Ayn Rand's extremely simplistic philosophy appeals to them. -- Short attention spans -- explains their ignorance.

I am pretty sure they'll be very thankful that you made them aware that they are Nazis for not writing it out.

Oh wait ... darn it ... I wrote AtA instead of Ask the Administrators ... that would make me a Nazi, too
