With good reason, he's protective about that inline suction to his trach. Looks like he has the rotation bed and evidence of good trach care.

So dignified.

WC.. were you were my patient, I'd make sure you'd had it all.

Thanks for his image

How blessed you and this amazing man and his family are that you are friends. The circumstances are tragic but the joy of friendship and life transcend the things we cannot control.

I could not stay away; our friendship is too deep, too important for that. We have cared for each other all these years--I had to be here. I would never have forgiven myself if I hadn't come.

How often do we actually get to say goodbye at the end, when it counts?

80. I hope WCGreen can recover, those pictures make me happy and sad.

I don't like seeing him lay there in bed like that, brings back some painful memories...but glad to see him alive and recovering. You are a wonderful person Peggy. My hopes are with him.

81. Ah, Rex, I'm so sorry, but he is not recovering.

The antibiotics no longer are effective against his infections, and they will soon be unstoppable.

I am so sorry to have to tell you this, but it is the truth.

82. Step 1.

Shut and lock the door...

Step 2. Shut off the oxygen.

Step 3.

ROLL A BIG FATTY AND SHARE IT WITH HIM AND HIS WIFE...

Just wishful thinking...my love and best wishes to you all...

84. Good to see him comfortable, at peace, & surrounded by love

When he goes, I want it to be like that. I'm so sorry it's come to this for him and his friends and family. We've lost too damn many DUers in the past few years.

Thank you CP for keeping us posted, and most of all for being there for him at this time and during all this.
