If the Democratic Party holds the Senate through 2016

It won't matter which Democrat we elect President in 2016. It won't change much. If a Republican wins the President in 2016, it would.
-
The Republicans would prefer Hillary rather than Warren.
-
But it looks like 6-10 more years of the same... not much. Which is better than the Republicans would do.

Why are you here if it doesn't matter? Why come to a Democratic website and spread both-parties-are-the-same crap?

I don't think it's a matter of saying both parties are the same, I think it's more an issue of saying what politically will happen.

the powers that be are so entrenched, not much will happen. Unless a republican is elected.. then bad will definitely happen.

They see Paul as a Libertarian and think of themselves as cleverly avoiding fealty to GOP.

edit : such as this I use if substantive; I don't use edit all the time like this if it is a humor/sarcasm post, or for speeelling/ grammer ( plural vs singular etc)

That are very advanced in age - one has battled severe health issues.

The President and who she appoints will definitely matter from January 2017 to January 2021.

The gop can put any of their idiots in the White House and get their crap passed with 51 Senators with a few Dem defections. We need to have someone nimble and adept to navigate the legislative waters. We won't get jack shit passed without the House, but the right leader could make the difference in the midterms and break the stranglehold. The most likely outcome is the 6-10 years of the same you mention. To avoid this, or worse we need to be very selective, it does matter who we elect.
