After reading Rude Pundits article - http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025106410

I saw this............ pretty scary, pretty disgusting, pretty nauseating:

4. EXACTLY!!!!!

Women will continue to get what we vote for, or failure to vote will ensure the same outcome.

12. Wendy Davis would disagree.

As would the out lesbian mayor of Houston.

Molly Ivins would have, too.

14. probably that law degree helps quite a bit.

it's the brown immigrant women who get raped on the job after all. er, poor brown immigrant women.
am not sure why wendy puts up with it. last I heard texas lawmakers were passing around pictures of breasts during sessions, because that's humor.

6. We'll start seeing women being hospitalized or dying due to back alley abortions,

just like in the "good old days" when abortion was illegal.

3. It seems like abortion rights are under attack in a lot of places.

5. Damn, I wish I was rich.

There would be no one in Mississippi who lived more than 50 miles from an abortion clinic, and the abortions would be free to all. I dislike fundies so much that I would do this just to piss them off. Just thinking about it puts a big smile on my face.

9. It's actually worse than the graphic because it leaves out southern states, like NC

which have passed similar legislation. Of the 15 clinics providing abortion services in NC,
only 1 is a licensed ambulatory surgical center and it is going to be closed soon.

10. Not surprised at all. I expect the body count

from botched back alley abortions will become commonplace. We've dialed back the clock to the 1950s as far as women's reproductive choices in huge swaths of this country are concerned.

13. It is not just the South, Ohio's GOP legislature and governor have done this in Ohio.

The Ohio GOP has used Ohio as a testing ground for these laws. The trap laws have been enacted and signed by our Governor John Kasich, who believes he will be president. What has happened in Ohio has received very little attention nationally. Women have protested, but it has not slowed the vile monsters from proposing even more draconian anti-women laws. Recently, H.B. 351 was proposed and it would ban all hormonal birth control and IUD's and require women to pay for abortions to save their lives, if they were dying during pregnancy.

This was proposed by Rep. John Becker from the Cincinnati suburbs, but he says he is not a doctor. What a vile monster he is. He most have very deep seated hatred of all women.

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/06/04/bill-would-restrict-abortion-coverage.html

Ohio's Governor and Legislature are owned completely by ALEC and their corporate masters.
