Welcome to the USA

Women aren't People anymore so says SCOTUS. They want control of a Woman's right. What say you all?

MS. Foundation for Women Condemns
High Court Attack on Women's Health and Rights

Rights
For Immediate Release
June 30, 2014
“Employers are proselytizing by paycheck – and women could pay for it with their health and economic security.”

WASHINGTON — Ms. Foundation for Women President and CEO Teresa Younger issued the following statement in response to today’s U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing employers to refuse to pay for birth control coverage under employee health benefit plans mandated by the Affordable Care Act.

“Rather than support religious freedom, the high court sacrificed women’s reproductive justice on the altar of religious intolerance. Today’s decision violates women’s reproductive and economic rights while potentially endangering their health.

“Birth control is preventative health care. Ensuring coverage of contraceptives has meant that more women can plan their families, have healthy pregnancies and healthy children. Birth control pills are also used to treat medical conditions, such as endometriosis, improving the overall health and quality of life of women.

“Contraceptive coverage is not just about ensuring women have access to basic, preventative health care, it also is about women’s economic security. Without birth control coverage, many women would have to pay anywhere from $15 to $50+ per month. Women will need to come up with hundreds of dollars each year to pay for their preventative health care – unless the government provides coverage for women whose employers opt to deny birth control.

religious authoritarianism. It is extremely dangerous as a precedent. This is about dominance and suppression of women. The government and religious creatures really need to get their noses out of people's genitalia.

Kansas, for one example, wanted ANY individual to be able to refuse medical services in ANY setting to LGBT if they felt helping LGBT was against their religion. This will be sure to come back in Kansas IMO. We live in a country that is truly becoming more F'ed up day by day and frankly getting to be a frightening place to live for many.

Consider this ruling and then militarization of local police ... for example. Day by day, people are being run over more and more by authoritarianism. Why so many Americans are so blinded as to not see what is going on, I just do not understand.

narrow this ruling is. That side of the aisle is gonna take this and run with it and do EVERYTHING it can think of to enlarge that itty bitty "narrow" ruling. This is EXACTLY the break they've been waiting and hoping for.

Maybe so many Americans are so blinded by this because they just don't want to believe it, or just don't want to see it. It's the same kind of denial that we see among the troglodytes who are just SURE there's no climate change or because the Bible doesn't say anything about it or because it won't matter what we do to the earth because JEEEEEEEEEZUS is coming and He's gonna wave His magic wand and make everything all better again, say hallelujah. It's the same thing that people in Germany said, that SURELY there was no problem from this Hitler guy and his pals. They just WOULDN'T do such things. They couldn't POSSIBLY want to do such things! Nah - not gonna be a problem... it just can't be, can it? You're just exaggerating, worrying over nothing... Not gonna happen...

Take away birth control and support Viagra. Oh and vasectomies are cool with them too. Go figure.

Hobby Lobby Still Covers Vasectomies And Viagra

Hobby Lobby -- now free to drop emergency "morning after" pills and intrauterine devices from its workers' health insurance plans -- has given no indication that it plans to stop helping its male employees obtain erectile dysfunction treatments.

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the craft store chain, owned by evangelical Christians, doesn't have to pay for health care coverage of contraceptives prohibited by its owners' religion.

But pills and pumps that help a man stiffen his penis in preparation for sex are perfectly acceptable.

These people are such bullshit artists and full of self-serving religious crap. They are con artists for religion and money stuffed in their pockets. The use the faithful as a niche market money machine. Why the fuck are people so brainwashed and stupid they can't see through this crap.

Majority of the "close held" companies supports ACA and contraceptives. The 71, etc. companies that don't well their employees will have to learn the hard way, especially the women. Oh by the way, those women who were giving high fives must be popping out babies, and isn't "rubbers" also a contraceptive, I mean hey, its capturing little 1/2 persons and by george thats murder isn't it?

Economic security, what? I mean those sincere men folks will marry women and protect them and the children and she does not have to work ever. Ya'see, women don't have to provide for their children, i.e health, education, y'know the basic b/c "men", especially the "Christian" ones will forever take care of all women and children, cost for such don't mean a thing, its taking are of = sarcasm.

When the female employee gets pregnant and there will be tons of them will these corporation have pregnancy leave with pay? That means they will have to hire or double up on workers, ahem, I foresee in the future that men will take majority of the female jobs, that solves the problem.

Vote 2014!
