There is one hard truth that many of us will not directly admit here about human nature

And that is this:

If given the ability to free-ride off of a service without paying for it, many, many people, perhaps a majority will do it. Not because they are evil, but because that is just human nature. Yes, some people will know this is wrong, and that the system won't work in the long run, but a good many of these folks they may still do it anyway for short term advantage.

This is what is hard to admit about union dues.

deep down inside, we all know what every indigenous person has ever known. You can't own land, air, water or anything that comes from it. The rules made up from people who have forgotten their Mother are not valid in the long run, because these things belong to us all and should be freely given. We do live on a harsh planet, where some things die so others can live. It's just the way it is. If you kill another thing so that you can eat and keep warm, you kneel down and sincerely thank that being for giving their flesh to help you survive.
