Anyone know what kind of health insurance Hobby Lobby offered before the ACA?

My guess is that they didn't offer any, or else it was such a lousy policy none of the store clerks bought it. (Of course, I'm also guessing that the execs had a great plan!)

that covered birth control. For clarity the hobby lobby's actual objection was to just some birth control such as the iud which sometimes allows egg and sperm to unite and attach to the wall of the uterus. The foriegn object there causes the attachment to unattach. The pill was not a problem from my understanding. But the SC applied the ruling to all contraception. I don't agree with HL but I don't get why the SC Applied the ruling to all forms of birth control.

they dropped it during the ACA debate.

The same thing happened as I recall at Wheaton College. I don't understand why it didn't invalidate the case. How can they claim religious principle when they offered it before it was mandated?

I would think someone who prides himself on being called a Christian would ensure that all his employees have access to the best health care possible. I'm just wondering what the Greens provided before the ACA came along.

On a related question - what kind of wages do they pay? Are they like Walmart, allowing the rest of us to feed their employees?

was actually very generous for retail. In 2013 they paid $14/hr for full-time and $9.50 for part-time. Someone in one of the threads here posted that they now pay $15 for full-time.

Not only did their 401(k) invest in Big Pharma birth control, they had a plan that offered birth control up to 2012. They dropped it so they could screw PBO buy suing over the ACA.. (5th paragraph)
