Can a bunch of us file suit now to stop paying interest?

It's against my "deeply and sincerely held religious beliefs", and is even supported in the Bible

Leviticus 25:35-37: "If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you. Take no usury or interest from him; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you. You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food for profit."

I firmly believe that paying interest on my home loan and car loan, or my daughter's student loan is infringing on my religious beliefs..I don't think I'm going to pay it any more.

I don't know if the Bible covers that, but "Thou shalt not kill" is my deeply and sincerely held religious belief.

First is that you are on the wrong end of the bargain. The quote you cited does not prohibit paying interest, which you are doing, it prohibits chargng interest, which you are not doing. And before you claim the purity of saving them by nor abetting their evil acts, the Hobby Lobby was not trying to prevent its employees from using birth control.

Second, you entered into the agreement to pay interest, and so cannot claim a moral repugnance against an action to which you have already agreed. Hobby Lobby did not agree to provide birth control, that was forced upon them.

I'm not supporting the decision, I don't like or agree with the decision, I'm just refuting sloppy thinking.
