Following this week's Supreme Court decision in which Hobby Lobby was a participant, I wanted you to know that I completely respect the opinions held by your firm. As I disagree with those opinions & the effects I believe it will have on women's health & the slippery slope it creates not only in the ACA, but in US law. I hope that you likewise respect my choice to shop at another source for my craft needs.

(57,936 posts)She said that to be effective, you need to attach to a letter like yours a receipt for products you bought at a Hobby Lobby competitor. Great idea in my view.

(38,958 posts)it is. Frankly I don't really spend much on craft items at this point in my life, but that which I do will be spent elsewhere. It comes down to they made a business decision based upon what they felt to be in their best interests, I simply did the same thing.

(28,702 posts)which isn't going to help the minimum wage workers either. i still like the idea, especially if it was coordinated and massive.

(38,958 posts)I don't think the abandoned cart idea is really all that of a good one. It just makes the day tougher for the workers as they have to re-stock everything in that cart and we need to remember that it is not the workers who made the decision to reject portions of the ACA, but rather management. I think a simple email and not avoiding their store works best for me. What others do is their choice based upon how they feel.
