Scott Lively is definitely unhappy after getting ripped by John Oliver
Anti-LGBT pastor Scott Lively is not happy with HBO host John Oliver’s recent commentary regarding the crackdown on the gay community in Uganda and Lively’s role in it.
While Lively traveled to Uganda in 2009 to promote anti-LGBT views, he has since tried to distance himself from the country’s new draconian laws, and did not take kindly to Oliver’s suggestion that his lobbying efforts somehow played a role in enacting them.
"I’m calling out John Oliver as a liar and a fraud who couldn’t go ten minutes with me in an unscripted, unedited debate. Without his teleprompter and his cheap-shot, out-of-context video clips he would be exposed as just another left-wing loony.
Oliver is lying through selective editing re Rwanda and several other points. His show was one continuous stream of malicious LGBT propaganda in the guise of comedy."

John Oliver will mop the floor with him. Although I am certain Mr. Lively will find an excuse to turn down the challenge that is sure to come.
Same goes for his partner in crime Rick Warren. I'd love to see him debate John Oliver, that would be pretty one sided!
