and that will make it mostly a Wet Willy with 30 knot winds.

Remember the good old days when they'd start out near Africa and chug across the Atlantic?

Haven't seen that pattern for a few years now.

ETA: NOAA now shifting the track to the west, clipping the Outer Banks.

For your excellent engagement in this and for your concern. This is an area of science which is under appreciated an exceptionally fascinating. What is most fascinating is the challenge we face as patterns change and weather becomes more discovery and less prediction. As for my preparation... well you know.
