Anyone else following Wimbledon?

Looking forward to the finals this weekend. Big Federer fan- hoping to see him win #18. Would love to see Eugenie Bouchard win her first major.

Tennis, anyone? I'll bring the strawberries and cream.

Re: The French Open. I don't think it is very interesting on grass, too fast, and not enough back and forth. Among the male matches anyway.

I like watching it on clay, but really like grass court tennis, too. More chance for players to be aggressive and go for the shots. Fwiw, seems like the grass courts, at least at Wimbledon, have been playing slower for a while now (I think they figured that, like you, most fans would want to see more rallies and less ace-ace-ace) So you do see more rallies, less serve and volley than in the olden days

There are some of us who watch and discuss all the slams.

I too am a major Federer fan and will be cheering for Eugenie Bouchard although I also like Petra Kvitova so tomorrow will be a happy day no matter what.

Sunday will be exciting. I have to admit that if Fed loses I WILL feel badly. I rarely care about any other sport at all but tennis I do love!

but as a Canadian, I'm very excited about Eugenie Bouchard. Was sad Raonic lost today. Either way, no Canadians have ever made it this far at Wimbledon, so it's been a win overall no matter the outcome.

I like Milos, too. And Bouchard really does seem like it's just a matter of time. She will win slams.
