Ban "Coal Rollers". They Are A Public Nuisance And Road Hazard.

Blowing black smoke and causing visibility problems on the highway should be against the law. How des;cable and racixt theses people are. They are using racism as an excuse.

Diesel vehicles enjoy certain exemptions from pollution rules. Enough of these idiots and that will be changed. They are cooking their own goose - idiots.

That's not enough.

Deliberately modifying a vehicle in such a manner as to create more pollutants than before should result in confiscation of said vehicle.

I always assumed that this was just something that needed to be fixed, not that anyone would do it intentionally (I am so naive!).

It really makes them look stupid. Like they are not aware that it is also the same air they breathe and water that they use. What a bunch of idiots!

There's a reason diesel engine manufacturers have been working forever to control combustion.

Yes, trashing the world is healthy and wise and spewing black smoke in other peoples faces set you apart as caring, civilized person.

The particulates that pour out of the exhaust stacks are the ones that did not accumulate in the valve passages and exhaust system. In addition, putting too much fuel into the combustion chamber interferes with cylinder and ring lubrication, leading to greater component wear. Also the products that blow past the rings contaminate the lubricating oil necessitating frequent oil changes. The raw fuel that passes the rings dilutes the lube oil, decreasing its lubrication and lowers its flash point increasing the risk of bearing failure and engine fires.

In short, it's an expensive way to show the world that you're an asshole. May I suggest a nice bumper sticker instead? You'll save money. Of course, your friends will never know because they can't read.
