if they were losing all the important cases 5-4?

I can't think that they would just sit back and take it. My guess is that they would mount some sort of campaign to change things. I'm curious as to what folks here at DU think that the Repubs would do.

It seems that they have been fighting Roe v Wade since it was decided. Though they haven't been able to get it overturned - they have been successful at throwing up roadblocks along the way - in the states - like closing down abortion clinics and now getting the buffer zone taken away.

I'm asking this question because I want to see if we can get some ideas as to how the Left can defend itself from the current Right Oriented and Stacked SCOTUS.

1. The only way is to elect enough Democrats to the Congress and White House to change the law,

appoint Justices that respect the Bill of Rights and/or impeach sitting members of the S.C. for betraying their oath.

You can also build clinics with long driveways to give some measure of protection for patients.
