(15,429 posts)Freaks me the fuck out. Y'all K'ada has bombed women's health clinics and LGBT bars. Never know where Y'all K'ada will strike again.

(15,429 posts)Loosely knit from multiple militias, tea party organizations, and other domestic terrorist groups, Y'all K'ada is hell bent of nenforcing their version of theological law on the world.

A preferred and more enlightened response would be to look at both women with compassion and try to understand why their world view is different.
Because I'll tell you something.
Their view is just as valid as yours or mine.

PS, mocking folks from the South I guess is 'fun', too, eh? "Y'all K'ada"

(15,429 posts)She and the Islamic woman in the other picture are selling PRECISELY IDENTICAL PRODUCTS!
It's religious hatred. The only difference is in the branding.
So yeah, I'm gonna fucking mock this shit as much as I can because this shit is destroying the fucking planet.
BTW, I grew up hearing the term "Y'all" every fucking day in that great southern state called Indiana.

(17,621 posts)It just got lost.
I was taught about "The War of Southern Treason" in my fourth grade history lessons taught in Southeastern Indiana.
All the while everybody was using the term "y'all".
Their world view seems identical to me except for cultural and geographic differences.
Book = religious commands
Flag = "god given' land
Gun = willingness to kill to protect/defend both + gods who ain't powerful enough to eliminate its enemies

I didn't say I support or agree with either woman, I am saying that the post is a form of xenophobia and narrow-mindedness.

(20,176 posts)I cannot help but feel that is what you're doing here. There is no reason to be tolerant of extremists wielding guns and holy books and wrapping themselves in a flag, so-to-speak.
Their POV isn't equally valid. Validity is negated the second you start to wave around a firearm, ranting about your moral beliefs and appealing to jingoism. That's not a vague observation, I once found myself rerouted on a Montgomery Co. MD bus because an FBI sharpshooter was compelled by the public welfare to put a 5.56mm round through a man's head and another through his chest in the lobby of the Discovery building in downtown Silver Spring by such an extremist. It's further entirely relevant that one of the two people whose view you're asking us to countenance as valid blew up herself and several other people at a border crossing and the other seems entirely capable of doing the same.
We need to start being less tolerant of such extremism. Not all viewpoints are valid or legitimate, especially measured in context of related actions.

(65,616 posts)I have a few of them in my family and they are outraged I tell you! How dare someone make an easy yet disturbing comparison between two women that have a gun, their religious text and their national flag behind them!
How dare they!
This one is going about as well as farting in church on my FB feed. they use the ol Christians are bombing people etc. I gave them the violence against abortion clinic and Dr's. Told them that while they don't have as high a kill count as ISIL, Al Queda, but they are getting a good start.

Extremists and terrorists are born of the same degree of hatred and bigotry.
